Weekly update!

I can't believe it! The barn is just about completed. As you can see, the outside is done and stained. They will be working on the inside this upcoming week. The house is also getting underway. They are working hard on the geothermal system and awaiting a permit for the attached garage. So more progress to come soon! Please keep following along.

Building the barn for the horses!

Just wanted to let you see some progress on the property. The barn is now underway and looking great! I think the horses will be quite happy at their new home being built by Back Forty Woodworks, Rudy Yoder from the Amish community in Mechanicsville, MD. I am very excited to have them build this barn. They are working hard and fast and the barn should be completed by the end of January.

Clearing the Land!!

Just a few of the lastest happenings our new property. Finally, land is getting excavated and by the middle of January the barn will be built by the Amish from Maryland. So keep checking back for more updates!!!!

The basement has been filled. The walls are gone!!!

This will be our bedroom one day.

This is our living room. The original hardwood floors now are going to be amazing later!

No more porch or bushes, all gone. Soon the siding will be gone and the recreation will begin.

Progress is being made!

Finally, you can follow along with the progress on our new home! Demolition has started and they are well on their way to making this project our place. The Amish are coming to build the barn sometime in January and then the fencing will be put in. The excavating of the land should be started within a week or so. So follow along and more photos will be posted showing the changes taking place!!! Yeah!!
We should be able to move in the end of February or beginning of March!! Anyone want to guess!

Inaugural Pictures

Here are the first pictures of the house. Sarah and I went over to the house to try to find our way from the woods behind the house to Sarah's house. It only took us a few minutes to walk from the house to Sarah's! Enjoy the pics!
